AIM Brazil
AIM Brazil - West
In 2004 Jay Silva took a group of 13 people on a mission boat trip to minister to the people living along the Paraguay River in the western state of Mato Grosso do Sul. The Pastor who owns the boat shared his vision of building a hospital for these needy people in Corumba. AIM contributed $1,000.00 towards the project and as the building began, other churches and political figures added to the funds. In June, 2006 the Hospital Bom Pastor was inaugurated! They are now running a medical clinic 5 days a week, until funds are raised to furnish the rooms and purchase the necessary operating equipment through the “Bom Pastor Hospital Project.”
AIM Brazil - South
In 2006, AIM added to its ministries the work of the Christian Foundation for Mission Youth (CFMY) in Brazil. This 40-year old ministry started by Rev. John Abel, Pastor David Abel’s father, supports the ARCA & Fazenda Retiro Bible camps for youth, tent evangelism campaigns and several community service programs. Contributions for these ministries are given through the “AIM-Brazil Fund".
